What’s In Stock: Hammermill Color Copy

The age of digital printing has refined the papers that are available to print with stunning success. Digital printing machines love an extra smooth surface and as ‘hard’ a sheet as possible to create a perfect finish for your project. We are reviewing Hammermill Color Copy, which is one of our house sheets.

May Our Brights be Bright and Available in Many Sizes

In digital printing we want a sheet that will not only be one of the brightest (100) but one that is made for perfect toner blending and registration. The true color reproduction has gotten so good over the years and Hammermill has always led the way with this Color Copy sheet line. Available in many sizes, it’s perfect for our in-house Canon imageRUNNER and our printer partners with their large run HP Indigo Press.

Be Choosy about Weight

Hammermill also comes in a variety of weights, both in text and cover stocks. You can use a lighter weight text such as 24lb or 28lb, which are great for flyers and presentations. Their heaviest text is 32lb, and is great for brochures, programs, and posters. For invites, booklet covers, and business cards – their range of cover stocks is great. The weights are 60, 80 and 100 lb and meet USPS standards for self mailers.

We’re not Jamming

Hammermill has a 99.99% Jam-Free Guarantee. They guarantee you will not experience more than one jam in 10,000 sheets on high-speed digital equipment such as ours, or they’ll replace the paper or offer a refund up to the total purchase price. We’ve never had to take them up on that!

Thinking of the Environment

Hammermill is part of the Forest Stewardship Council and is FSC certified. What is that you might ask…’FSC’ stands for Forest Stewardship Council, an organization that works to promote the practice of sustainable forestry worldwide. The Forest Stewardship Council sets standards for forest products, independently certifies that these standards have been met, and bestows labels upon the products that qualify. Forest Stewardship Council certification gives customers the option to choose forest products like paper and wood that have been sourced in an environmentally-friendly, socially responsible and economically viable manner.

We hope this helps to describe our house sheet to a tee. If you have any questions about paper or just want to come over and touch and feel the differences, we are here for you!
